An experimental study of the difficulties involved in learning the group concept

In this paper, we present the experimental  results in  verifying the research  hypothesisrepresented in the article  “An epistemological analysis of the concept of quotient group”  (Nguyen Ai Quoc, 2018) about the existence of three difficulties  to students in first approaching the concept of quotient group. And these difficulties are derived from three epistemological obstacles: intrinsic, abstraction, and structuralisation.
